Organized by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and Marine Industry Cares Foundation, it is the County’s largest and longest-running environmental event. In 2016, nearly 1,500 volunteers of all ages worked by land and from over 100 boats at more than 30 locations across the county to remove 22 tons of trash and debris from waterways, rivers and canals.
